Back To Shore
The ice cold water surrounded her. Shock entered her body like rapidly piercing daggers. She had to do all that she could to not focus upon it. Yet she knew that she could not give herself the moment to let her body adjust. She could feel the cold become slightly painful. She had to do all that she could to push past this too. After all, she had to do all to get to safety, but first, she needed to get to land.
So she swam as fast as she could. She pushed through the water like walking through a rough gale. She swam and swam. She could feel the cold becoming colder and colder. She could feel her body starting to lose its feeling in the fingers and toes. She saw a large wave that made her look like a tiny dwarf that rose over her. She was hit before she could do anything and the powerful force upon her tossed over her rapidly under the water. She rolled and rolled under the water which made it hard to breathe and the ice dug in deeper with it getting close to her heart.
She looked up and went to swim up when she was hit by something light brown. She then looked back to see a large creature. It was the size of a large ship and the shape of several joined houses and the fins the shape of a shark's only thrice as long. It had a horny spine with glowing yellow eyes. It had a head the shape of a bullet with a large and wide mouth. With sharp teeth the shape of giant arrowheads the colour of red.
It looked at her and swam at her faster than a creature of that size should have. She swam up. Yet she could not get away. She looked down to see the head beneath her. She swam down and then swam to the eyes. She then punched one and it closed both eyes. Knowing that she did not have long, she swam up as far as she could. When she reached the water's surface she gasped for air. Then she swam on and on.
She could not stop. Yet she felt her arms and legs start to ache. Yet she could not give them the break that they yearned for. She had to swim on and on. Yet she knew that it would not be long until she would feel her arms and legs start to seize up. She knew that by that time she would be at the mercy of the ocean. So she swam and swam. She did all that she could to force her arms and legs on and on. Then she felt the painful aching in her forearms.
Then she saw teeth above and below her. She noticed that she was already in the creature's mouth. She then felt her body seize up. Then the mouth snapped shut and she felt herself being dragged back. She rolled in the water backwards. She then fell into the stomach of the creature.
She whined in pain as she felt the stomach acid hit her. However she knew that the coldness of the water made the pain worse. She could not do anything but twitch in the acid. She has lost all ability to control her body. She tried to stop herself from twitching but she could not and soon her hands started to twitch too. She could feel her heart race and anger build.
Come on! Get a hold of yourself. I have survived worse. I need to get out of here.
Well at least it is not like that strange liquid that was under that pathway.
Nah, this is worse.
Still, I have to get out of here. I need to get out of here. I need my body to rest and then regain my strength.
But I need to get out of here or I will be digested!
No, not fully. Remember I am immortal! I'm more likely than not going to end up spending all the days of my life inside here than being fully digested.
So she had to wait until the twitching stopped before she swam up to the top of the stomach. This just made her frustration build and build. She then grabbed the bottom of the oesophagus. She then forced herself forward and punched it. She punched it again and again. She forced herself higher before punching it again and again. Soon she was forced on and out of the mouth.
Now, get to the surface.
She swam up and up. She could feel her lungs cry out for air. Yet she knew that she could not answer just yet. She had to go on and on. Soon she felt her throat tighten! Yet she swam on and on. She felt her head pounding as she did. She felt the pressure of the water weighing down upon her. However she knew that she would have to do all to resist it. She had to push herself on and on. She then saw the light of the surface above her.
She felt her energy and her will to survive return to her. She was able to swim faster too. She felt her body push through the water faster than before! She felt herself hanging onto the desperate hope of finally getting to the surface.
She finally broke through and gasped for the air. She panted and panted. Yet she felt the cold of the sea sink deeper and deeper. She felt herself shivering, yet still shivering, she swam on. She swam and swam with her arms shaking as she was getting colder and colder.
She could feel her heart racing as she could no longer control her body and all that she could do was shiver. She felt her teeth tapping against each other. She could not see herself but she knew that her body was turning blue.
Come on! Come on! Get on with it!
I can't. I'm too cold!
Use your power.
I can't. I don't have any firecrys.
She had to force herself to go on and on. She then spotted an orange bush ahead. She looked closer and spotted that it was not a bush but a group of trees.
Land!
She swam on and on and on. She then felt pain in her arm. She looked down and felt more pain. She soon spotted small silver fish in the shape of daggers five to her and took a chunk out of her arm!
She then spotted more and more dive to her. She felt the salt in the water intensifying the pain as the flesh repaired itself. She tried to push past the pain, but it did nothing. No, this caused more and more to dive at her almost like a flock of birds diving at their prey.
So she dived at one and crushed it. One dived at her and she went to grab it but it bit her thumb clean off! She pulled back and hooked it's body then crushed it. She saw some gather around her legs and she kicked and kicked. She hit the heads of some and others bit off her shoes, feet and toes. She had to let out a cry of pain. Then she punched one that was diving at her.
She knew that her energy levels were running low. Yet she had to swim on and on. She did all that she could to push through the pain.
I'm immortal! I don't need to focus upon fighting these fish. I need to focus on getting to land!
She swam on and on. Then she felt one bite into her stomach. Then she felt more and more swarm to her stomach. They bit and ripped into her flesh. The pain was torturesome as she felt them gorging upon her insides. She had to force herself on as she started to cry. Through her tears and pain she continued.
Then she felt the ice cold water inside her body, which caused her body temperature to drop. This made it feel less ke she was breathing in and out ice. She could feel her heartbeat start to drop. Then this was followed by the fish. This hurt her more than the bites in her arms and legs.
I'm not going to make it! I'm not going to make it! I can't do this. I can't do this! I just can't do this.
It hurts too much. Help! Help me! Please, someone, help me!
She felt herself weeping. Then her eyes rested upon the land. Pushing on and on she forced everything into focusing upon getting to land. She shook as she could no longer bear the pain. Then her body finally went limp. Her eyes closed. The tide swept her to the shore. There, she lay unconscious in a pool of her own, thinning, blood.
The Time In The Home
"Do you think that she is alright?"
"She seems to be."
"She's healing fast! Is that normal?"
"Who knows? She's not normal! I mean her eyes don't glow and they're mix matched. And she's as pale as death. And what are those on her head?"
She felt two fingers on the side of her head.
"Yeah what's with that?"
Gonna have to tell them…
"I'm from another world…" Groaned Loc, as her mind was still starting to come around.
She blinked several times before her mind came around. Which took longer than usual. Yet despite it getting close to waking up, her mind was still a bit foggy. She felt pain all over her aching body. She could feel her arms and legs still twitching slightly. She knew that she was weak and it would take a day or two for her to get back on her feet and back to full health.
Her eyes slid to the old couple. One had green glowing eyes with red skin and silver horns. She had a hunched back and was wearing a few old and torn faded clothes in several layers. The other had lilac glowing eyes and green skin with gold horns. He was wearing several layers of old faded clothes.
She shivered as she felt the mild cold.
"Who are you?"
"We could ask you the same!"
"Also, what are you? '
"Someone from another world. My name is Loc."
""Blood." The old man said.
"Crow Mother Spirit." The old woman said.
"Where am I?"
"Our home. We found you almost just about dead on the shore. Yet you were almost eaten by silverblood fish. In fact your stomach was almost completely eaten!"
"Silverblood fish?"
Then she realised that they were talking about the fish that attacked her. She remembered how they looked and agreed with the name. Her eyes closed, embarrassed by her own stupidity.
"So that's what they're called." She moaned with her eyes closed.
In her dreams she saw her team looking at her, their eye sockets empty.
"We put our trust in you!" Said To Break.
"We put our dreams in you!" Said Distant Battle.
"We put our lives in your hands!" Said To Open.
"We put our future in your hands!" Said Life.
"And look where that led!" Spoke Wolf Raven.
Soon her team fell, all dead. Then she felt Wolf Raven's hand on her chest. She looked up at his face twisted in a wicked long smile. Then he let out a wild and terrifying laugh. Almost like he was looking at her in victory, like a predator that had finally caught his prey. He laughed and laughed aggressively and this was joined in with three women. Her sisters and Lamia!
Then her eyes opened again. It was later that day. As she calmed herself down, she felt Crow Mother Spirit replace the cloth on her head. She blinked several times as her mind started to clear.
"How long have I been out?"
"Four hours. Here. I can tell that you are hungry. After all, you haven't eaten in two days."
She looked down at the bowl with red liquid with turquoise chunks in. She felt her stomach rumble.
"Thank you?"
She looked down. She was given a spoon and ate. It tasted like tomato soup with chunks of beacon. She almost wolfed it down. Yet she had to stop herself from showing bad manners.
"So tell more about yourself." She asked, taking another bite.
She looked out of the window for a moment before returning to her.
"Well me and my husband have been married for over thirty years. When we were young we wanted to have many children and grandchildren. However, "
She looked down with a sombre look on her face.
"It was deemed by the Evil Emperor that our genes should not be passed on. So we were forced to undergo a course of sterilisation so that we did not have any children. Then we were carefully monitored by his people to ensure that their course worked. When we found out that it didn't, they took me away and beat me until it caused miscarriage. Then they forced me to undergo heavy labour for months and months."
"What did they make you do?"
"Mainly mine for firecrys. It burnt my hands and by the time I was returned to my husband we were both put in pods and we were only released when I started my menopause. We were both moved here, where we can only get by."
Loc nodded as she looked down to her hands that had crimson scars all over them.
"I'm sorry."
She put on a smile as she wiped a tear from her cheek.
"It's not your fault."
She was soon finished with her food. She suddenly felt stronger than a moment ago. Her mind became clear and sharp. It was like she was better, by far, than a moment ago.
"What was that?"
"Peak stew. The soldiers are coming."
"Why?"
"Because there is a bounty on your head."
"What?" She asked bitterly. "Oh."
"'All your heart's desire!' it said. My husband hopes that he could use that to make us young again so that we can have those children that we always wanted. Yet despite how much I love him, he keeps believing in fantasy stories of the Evil Emperor granting his own nearest and dearest new youth. It's the only thing that has kept him sane. I guess something had to. As for me, I know it's impossible. After all, if they deprived me of motherhood once, then why would this be any different? I'm sorry but I am too old to stop it. May luck be on your side."
Loc nodded, her face pale.
"Don't worry. I hope to bring your suffering to an end "
She laughed and smiled.
"You already have."
Then the door burst open. Bullets fired and Crow Mother Spirit was killed. One of them threw the body of the husband to the old woman, mockingly.
She looked up and saw the gun being trained to her. She ran out of the way and threw the bowl at them. Quickly she ran out of the room and directly to the kitchen. She dived at and then lit the gas hob. She focused her power into the fire towards it.
BANG!
The house went up in flames. She dived out of the house before they could see her.
On The Run
She ran and ran. She did all that she could do to run in zig zags as fast as she could. She almost dived from left to right randomly again and again. She did this to make sure that they would not be able to predict her actions. She pushed herself on and on as could hear them behind her. Despite this she could hear that they were getting closer and closer as she ran on and on.
Then she felt the bullet in her leg.
She fell and she was soon surrounded by thirteen soldiers. Knowing that she would only be taken back and if she left one alive the others would kill them she knew what she should do. She ran to one as he fired at her chest. Ignoring the pain, she threw out a punch as she bent over. She plucked the bullet from her chest as she felt a bullet in her back. She soon felt bullet after bullet.
She noticed that one was already dead.
She dived at him and plucked the gun from the ground and fired at one, but missed. Then they fired at her again. She then continued to fire at the one that she missed. She then finally hit. She then went to fire at another but she started coughing as she fired at another. She took out one after the other. She knew that she had to do this quickly. She then dived to the left in order to avoid another round of bullets. She could feel her mind almost being overwhelmed by the pain. She had noticed that they had not shot anything serious.
She then fired at the other two. She picked up some dirt and threw it at the others. This blinded only five. She fired at one and then another. She was hit by one that was not blinded. She then was hit in the arm and then the leg. She dropped the gun. Then another hit the gun and it exploded. She spotted that the bullets were made of firecrys.
Quickly she grabbed the bullets. She lit them and fired at one and as he was distracted by the firecrys she ran and hit him. She picked up his gun and fired at him. She then fired at another and another.
This left only three remaining. She was shot again. She dropped the gun and then it was fired at. She then ran to one, pushing past the pain, and hit him. She then took his gun and quickly fired at the other two. Finally she hit the last.
Knowing that she did not have time to hang around as more would be on their way, she ran. She ran and ran. She did not want to stop for one second. She pushed past as much of the pain as she could. She could feel her legs start to hurt as she ran for over an hour. She wanted to get as much distance between the dead soldiers and her as she could.
She felt her lungs cry painfully for more air. She could feel her throat becoming colder and colder. She could feel her heart racing faster and faster. Her mind was sharp as her brain started to hurt. Yet soon it longed for sleep. She could feel her tiredness sinking deeper and deeper. She started to feel nauseous. Yet despite it all, she continued to run and run. She did not give into her body's plea for her to stop. No, not when she had to put a distance between where she was and where she was running.
She, once she knew that her body could no longer take it, reached out to a tree and pulled herself up. She pulled herself up further and further up the tree. She forced herself to get higher and higher. She has to push past the throbbing pain in her thighs and calves. When she was finally hidden in the trees, she sat on a branch and there she slept.
The next moment she woke up feeling very hungry and thirsty. She was cold and yet was sore and throbbing. She knew that she needed to get down, but when her body would not let her.
Stay. Sleep more.
She was about to fall back to sleep when she heard the sound of voices in the distance. She looked down to see a group of creatures with maroon horns and had bright yellow glowing eyes. She saw the long silver teeth and long canniness with sharp claws, scratching at the tree beneath her.
Her eyes widened.
What! They have hounds? Of course they have hounds! Why didn't I think of that? Nevermind that, will I be able to get past that? Yes, I think that I will.
She then saw the group beneath her feet. She noticed that they were looking up as they started barking. They jumped to their hind legs and started scratching the tree trunk.
They're going to find me!
She looked around to see where the men were. Then she looked back down and heard them in the distance. She could feel her heart racing and, somehow, hammering in her head. She had to act quickly and push past the noise. She quickly pulled her feet up. She, knowing that she was going to be discovered at any time, pulled her body up. She then looked at the tree opposite.
I can do this. I can do this. No, I have to do this.
She readied herself to jump. She had to carefully manoeuvre her body to the right position. She ran along the branch and jumped. She then reached out but she had misjudged and fell.
Dart!
She rolled as she landed in front of the soldiers. She ran on before she had the time to look back. She felt the stabs of bullets in her back. She could also feel that they were not going anywhere near her vitals.
Why are they missing them? Is it hard aiming upon those parts? Or is it that they want to take me alive? If that is the case then there could be a chance that they don't know that I'm immortal.
So she kept running and running. She had to do all that she could to keep running. She felt more and more bullets. Yet she kept pushing on and on. Then she felt the bite. She looked down to see that one of the hounds was on her hand. She punched the hound and ran on. Then another dived at her and bit into her shoulder. She punched it in the gut.
Knowing that she has to fight, she stopped running. She looked back to see another hound diving at her. She ducked and she felt one chomping down on her lower jaw. She was yanked down. She then felt one in her hip and calves.
She then saw one of the hounds and punched it as hard as she could. She then dug the elbow into the eye that was digging into her hip. She looked up and spotted another coming at her. She thrust her head into the snout. She spun her body around and punched another in the jaw before it could even hurt her.
She got to her feet. Then bullets hit the hounds. She looked up. Knowing that she was not in the shape to fight, she turned and limped as she ran. She ran and ran, but she hurt every time she pushed herself on. She could do nothing, not even stop to scratch the healing wounds. She ran and ran, yet she fell.
She looked back to see the trail of blood behind her. She then looked on ahead. She almost crawled as she ran on. She moved on and on. She could feel that she was on the brink.
Then she heard voices coming closer and closer. She could do nothing to put any distance between her and them. She then looked back to see that they were there.
"You have nowhere to run!"
She looked back to see that there was a cliff behind her. She knew that they would have been right. So she moved further and further back. She looked down, seeing nothing but darkness below. She could not hear anything coming from beneath.
This is going to hurt.
Her lip curled as she looked back. She then jumped off and into the darkness.
The Time In The Old Library
Loc woke up. Her body was in a pool. Her eyes looked up at the crimson night sky and the scarlet stars. She could feel herself floating and the next thing that she felt was the ice cold water. She heard the soothing sounds of the soft water and the light breeze.
She kept quiet, hoping that she could hear the sounds of the soldiers.
"Must have wanted to die rather than be brought back in."
"Don't blame her though!"
"What was she anyway?"
"One of Father Of Knowledge's experiments?"
"Maybe."
"I wonder what happened to him!"
"He's dead!"
"Oh."
She then listened to them as they left.
They think that I'm dead. Good. That should help keep me away from Wolf Raven as long as possible. Although, I think that it won't be that long.
Now, time to get out of this body of water.
She spun over and started swimming. She looked up and saw a group of turquoise crystals and the shadow of a small land mass.
Looks like that's where I need to go.
She swam towards it. Soon she could see that there was an outline of an outline of some growth sticking up like a model of a mountain. As she continued to swim, she could see the burning red tiles. Then she saw the orange bricks below. As she swam further and further on she saw that it was a structure the shape of a cone. She saw that there were several windows going from the top to the bottom. At the front was a set of lilac double doors with amber door knobs.
What a strange building!
She then looked down to see a beach area with royal purple sand with bright orange and red grass behind. As she swam to it, she felt slightly nostalgic. She soon was able to walk into the sand. She took off her clothes and wrung the water out of them. She then cleaned herself and once the clothes were dry she put them on.
She looked around and spotted some firecrys in front of the building. She took it and looked up to see that there were words at the top of the double doors.
THE LIBRARY OF TRUTH
Looks like I'll be heading in there. She thought as she looked back.
She lit a fire and warmed herself up. She dried herself and looked back at the building. She, wanting shelter, put the fire out and walked in.
She saw that there was a spiral ramp going from the right side of the door to the roof with books on shelves at both ends. She then looked to the left to see a set of bookshelves going across the room. As she walked in further, she saw more and more books arranged in a circle. In the centre of the room was a stone table with a fishing rod on top. Yet to the side she spotted a fireplace.
Is someone here? She wondered as her eyes looked around. Then she ran along the whole library and found that there was no one else there. At the top of the spiral ramp she saw another stone table. On it was an envelope. She walked up to it.
Lora Cerberus
Her eyes widened as she looked around only to look back to see the envelope was old and felt shock run throughout her body as her heart skipped a beat. She opened it with shaky hands.
To Lora Cerberus,
If you are here then that must mean that the end of
the Evil Emperor is near. Which also means that you
know his true identity. Good.
After I foresaw all that is about to happen in this
world at this time. Knowing what he was about to
do, I knew that I had to hide all these books.
You will need to read all of them before you are found.
You have at least a week at worst and a year at best.
However I am far from worried. Merthlings are one
of the fastest readers and strongest humans in all
the Multiverse, after all.
I left my fishing rod for you to use to catch some food.
There are enough firecrys to last a year, which you will
find in the cellar under the stone table on the ground
floor. Also a large group of vegetables that can be
grown underground.
May Fortune Shine Upon You
Philosteria Tenpool
Wait, as in the Philosteria Tenpool? One of the Third Age Legendears?
She looked at the books to her side with a smile on her face.
Well if reading all these books before I'm found is your challenge, then it is one that I will accept.
She placed the letter down and took out the first book.
The Origin Of The
N Universe And Nerth
She opened the book.
In the beginning was a Great Being. Even though he had
a name there was none there to speak it. So he created
nine thousand and one worlds and many humans to
speak it.
Yet all the people corrupted themselves and he had to
stop the corruption so he did by sending a flood at the
same point of all the worlds. Even though he warned the
least corrupted of them all only fifty of the nine thousand
and one heeded the warning.
With eight thousand and one dead he removed them. Leaving only fifty left.
She read to the end and then placed the book back. After she fished and caught two fish. She then looked underneath the stone table and saw a trap door. She pulled it up. She crawled into the hole and soon saw ladders. It was made of the same glowing crystal that was outside. Again she felt the taste of nostalgia as she climbed down.
On the left was the pile of firecrys and on the right was the overgrown vegetation. She picked some and then climbed up and ate the fish and vegetables. The vegetables tasted like bacon and cabbage. She then slept. When she woke up, she climbed up the ramp and read more and more books. None of them caught her attention. Before she had her next meal she kept an eye out for people. When she heard none, she cooked and ate her meal. Then she went back to sleep. She did this day after day. Reading book after book like a Wolf digging into their prey. She soon knew the history of the N Universe and Nerth. She lost track of time of the days that she spent there. She soon read the books on the ramp. Then moved upon the next row. She then learnt of the political history of the world. She moved onto the next and learnt about the history of both science and technology. She then moved onto the rest of the books. All gave her all that she needed to know about this world. She found herself enjoying reading all the books and the silence as she read. Yet she still kept her eye out day in and day out. She then came to the last book.
Wolf Raven
This caused her eyes to light up with ambition as she felt a ripple run throughout her body. She felt goosebumps cover her body.
Now this is the one I want!
She eagerly but carefully opened the black leather book with purple writing and started reading.
Wolf Raven was born in Jellen of the high establish movement.
He was taken from his parents The Dark One and Sorrowful
Death and they were killed. He was raised as the next leader
of the rebel group. Upon learning this he quickly became the
head of the group. Once he was of ate he learnt about the
dark powers of the denounced gods. The moment that he
found out that they were real, he used them on the group.
He then soon took control of the rest of the planet Nerth. Which,
at the time, was not a difficult thing to do. The families that
became part of the high establishment, which became known as
the favourable houses, movement already three quarters of the planet.
So once he conquered that that final quarter he had
finally become the ruler of the world. Without any challenges.
Yet he became attached to his power and Life. So he used the dark
powers to keep that life intact. Whatever that dark power was,
it led to him to retain his prime and freeze his ageing.
During this time he became aware that rebellion was inevitable
so he started to take objects and books relating to his identity.
Yet as this time wore on, he was able to set up a rebellion, where
a man approached him and gave him the prophecy of his fall.
She then put down the book. Then she heard voices outside. She looked out and saw the lights outside. She put the book in her pocket and slid into the cellar. She kept quiet as she waited there. Hoping that they did not have those nightmare hounds and that they did not look beneath the stone table. She looked up and saw the light and knew that one did.
Alright, looks like my holliday's over!
She grabbed as much firecrys as she could. She then waited until one saw her. She lit the firecrys at them. He fired at her and she quickly dived out of the way. She then rushed to him and punched him in the face. Knowing that it would be only a matter of time until the others would notice that one of theirs was missing, she climbed the ladders. She crawled out from under the table. Then she felt a hut from the butt of a gun and all went black.
Chased
Her eyes flicked open. She looked around and soon felt plastic around her wrists and ankles. She then noticed the soldiers were carrying her. She could feel they were swimming. She closed her eyes and waited for an opening. She tried not to grunt when she felt her body being dropped. She opened her eyes slowly, trying to make it out that she was still unconscious. She saw the group of soldiers, huddled around a fire. She looked around and saw that none of them were looking at her. So she decided to keep as quiet as she could and observe them. Hoping to find her opening.
"Sure leaving her there's a good idea?"
"Yeah! Her hands and legs are bound."
"Oh. I dunno. She doesn't seem normal."
"Yeah! Just what is she?"
"Yeah! I know and why doesn't her eyes glow?"
"Yeah and what's that on her head?"
She noticed that they were still not looking at her. She looked to her feet. She soon spotted that there was a sharp stone nearby her. Yet she noticed that the stone was too far away. So she decided to pull the plastic outwards and it snapped. She looked up as they all looked at her.
Time to run!
She jumped on her feet and ran. She looked down and then pulled the plastic apart. She heard the gunfire. She did not dare to look back as she did all that she could to run faster and faster. She did not dare stop, not even for a moment. She heard the firecrys in her pocket. She pulled it out and she then lit it. She threw it at one of the trees and then lit and threw it at the base of another tree. She pushed her will into the fire to spread and suddenly it did. Soon there was a wall of fire between her and them.
She ran and ran. She kept running as fast as she could. She saw a shallow stream near her and remembered the hounds and ran across it. She did all to push against the power of the water.
She then ran faster once she had crossed it. She ran faster and faster. She saw a log in front of her. She jumped off it, propelling her to the nearest branch. She was able to grab it and pulled herself up. She ran across the branch and jumped. This time she landed on the tree. She ran on to another branch over to another tree. She jumped from tree to tree. Once she saw a higher tree, she ran up and used the tree to propel her up and landed. She ran to a tree and over and around that. She then jumped and landed on the ground.
She ran to a tree and ran around that. She then moved to another tree and ran around that. She ran to another tree and ran around that. She did this again and again before returning to a previous tree and ran on.
She ran and ran. She wanted to put more distance between her and them. She also wanted to spread her scent that would cause those hounds to be useless.
She saw a road and ran on to it. She then ran up the road. She was glad for the flat tarrien. She continued to run higher and higher. She saw lights ahead and she dived back into the forest where she noticed a beaten track. So she ran on that.
She ran up higher and higher. She could feel her muscles in her thighs and calves start to ache. Yet she pushed herself on as she noticed a flight of stairs in the rock. Seeing that there was nowhere else to go, she ran and climbed up them. She ran and ran. She jumped up slightly as she ran up the stairs. Suddenly she was rising above the trees. She could see that she had become exposed as nothing surrounded her. Yet it was too late to turn back so she ran on. She felt exposed but she continued to run on. She knew that she had to ignore this feeling.
She started to work up a sweat and she started to pant as she felt her lungs crying out for air. However, as deeply as she breathed, it was not as much as they needed. She could feel her heart beating as fast as a drum. She pushed herself on and on. She could feel the cold air sink in. She could even feel her head start to hurt and she felt nauseous. She knew that she had to stop.
She looked back to see that there was a great fire in the far distance. She saw several lights going to the area. Yet it spread and spread. She felt the shock sink in.
I did that? Wow!
She had to let out a nervous chuckle. It never occurred to her that she was capable of doing such a thing.
Then she felt a stinging pain in her arm. She looked to her side. Then she saw the blood flowing. She looked down to see that one of the soldiers was coming at her. She took out a firecrys and lit it. That stopped him in his tracks in shock. She then threw it at him. She then ran to him and punched him down. She then took his gun as he fell. She spotted another gun and took that too. She then looked at the body and spotted that one had a phone. She took it out and flicked it open and looked at all that was on it. She soon saw a photograph of herself.
Bring in alive.
She then looked at the rest of the photographs and spotted that there were of the rest of the rebels
Bring in alive or dead.
She noticed that most were either dead or in slave camps across the world. She noticed that where she was was nowhere near the slave camps that they were. She also noticed that there was a slave camp on the same island that she was on. She was about to look into it more when the phone exploded in her hand.
She looked up to see more coming to her. She raised her gun to them and fired at one after another. She then ran at three more and fired at them before they had the chance to react. She took their guns. She ran up to one and phone. She then ran away from them.
She ran and ran. Then she ran to the top of the stairs. She noticed that she was at the top of the hill. She looked back to see the deep river underneath. She saw that it was racing like horses.
She then felt a bullet in her back. She looked back to see there were fifty surrounding her.
"Alright. The jig's up!"
"You are either coming willingly or unwillingly." A familiar voice came.
She felt a ripple of shock as she looked up to the one that spoke the words. It was at this moment that she noticed just how much he looked like Wolf Raven. In fact the only difference was the colour of the skin, horns and eyes.
"Light Bringer! I should have known."
"Yeah. Well come on."
She smiled.
"By the way, who's Wolf Raven to you?"
"My father."
"Oh."
She then stepped back.
"Then give my love to daddy dearest then!"
She jumped. She was soon hit by the rocks. Everything went black
The Old Couple
She woke up on a beach with crimson sand beside a river. It was clearly morning and the sky was bright scarlet. She felt like a stone and she was incapable of doing anything. Except just lie there, letting her body twitch. She felt like all of her strength had been robbed of her.
She saw two coming at her. One was brown with white eyes and green horns and the other was white with brown eyes and red horns. She was helpless to stop them from picking her up. They carried her to a hut that looked similar to the other old couple.
She tried to crawl back away but her body was far too tired and she knew that she had pushed her body to its limit. She could even feel pain and itching coming from all over her body. So she knew that her bones had been broken. So she was not going anywhere.
Maybe they have the same story as the old couple too.
Still I need to-
When she woke up again she was in bed. She felt the old lady feeding her. However she could do nothing to stop her. She could then feel her strength returning to her slightly. She felt fragile fingers on her jaw, opening them. She felt food falling into her mouth. She then felt her stomach being filled. After she was finished, the old woman placed the bowl down.
"Thank you."
She smiled cheerily.
"You don't have to thank me, dear."
"Tell me, did you take a book off me?"
"No, dear. It is still in your pocket."
Good.
"Who are you?"
"Oh, that doesn't matter anymore. Our names were stripped from us during this time and me and my husband were sterized too."
"Oh. Sorry." She said looking down.
"It's alright. We don't need children. After all, they wouldn't have names either. The Emperor has commanded it. He doesn't think we should have children and told us that having them would be a nuisance. Also he told us that our names would be a nuisance so he took them. In fact he took all our memories too as they would have been a nuisance too."
"What? How?"
"He gave us a pill and when we woke up everything except the ability to talk was gone. He then gave us this lovely home and looked after us our whole lives. Thanks to him we need nothing."
"And if he told you to jump off a cliff would you?"
"Yes." Said the old man.
"After all, there would be a good reason for him to do it."
"And does it not bother you? That you don't remember anything before the pill?"
"No."
"Sometimes."
"Husband!"
"Wife!"
"What if you were a rebel?" She asked. "What if before the pill you hated him?"
They looked at each other and laughed.
"Why ever would you think that?"
"And even if we were, I think that we would be wrong to do so."
"How come?"
"He has shown us such good kindness and if we were, then that would mean that he has shown us not only mercy but more kindness than we ever deserve."
More like to leave you alive like a bird in a cage.
"And what happened to the rebellion?"
"Oh, they were all taken down. Now they all should be in the slave camps right now."
"Oh."
Should have known. They waited long enough, time to take them all down.
"How long was I out?"
"Oh, a day or two."
She nodded.
"Right. Urm, tell me, would it be alright to use your loo?"
"Of course!"
"It's just down the hall to your left. The door nearest the door."
"Thank you."
She climbed out of the bed and walked to the loo. She then saw it. It was opposite the door to the bathroom. There was a bath on the right and a sink to the left. She sat on it and as her urine was released.
Right, now what?
Well I can't stay here. It would only be a matter of time until they recognize me and they will inform Wolf Raven. After all, even though they seem to be kind, that loyalty will become a liability. So the sooner I can get out of here the better.
After all, I can't stay here.
She soon finished her business and washed her hands. She then heard two guns go off. She looked at the door. She ran to it to see that there were soldiers everywhere and the old couple were all dead!
Anger entered her heart and she ran to the one closest to her and kicked him in the side. She grabbed his gun and fired at him. She then pointed the gun at another and fired shot after shot at one after another. She ran to the bed and threw the blanket at them. They fired at the blanket as she ducked. She used where the bullets were coming from to fire at the soldiers behind. She fired and soon the blanket was nothing but a pile of cotton on the floor.
Yet this revealed that she had only taken down four and had missed eight. She then dived as they fired at her. She felt the bullets skim her left arm as she reached the lamp. She grabbed it and threw it at one of them she then fired at it making it explode. She then grabbed the chair and threw it at another group. She fired at one and another as they dodged it.
She soon took out the eight. She ran down the corridor. She saw two on the left and fired. She quickly spotted three on the right. She fired again. She soon ran out of the house. She then saw fifty soldiers pointing their guns at heart.
Too many.
She ran to the right and then saw a body of water behind the house. She could see that it was still and vast. So she ran back and ran and ran. She then felt more and more bullets in her back. Yet she still ran on and on. She dove into the water. She then ducked under and kicked the sand again and again before she ducked and swam. She then swam on and on.
She then swam to the left and swam on and on as deep as she could. She kept swimming and swimming. She soon swam across the large river and washed up the red beach. She got to her feet and ran on.
The Three Houses
It had been hours and hours and Loc ran and ran, putting more and more distance between her and the river. She could not stop regardless of her body's pleas. Her thighs and calves were aching. Her body and throat were ice cold as she was completely coated with sweat and her hair was soaking.
She, after running for at least an hour, soon came to a house. She was feeling extremely tired and hungry. She looked up at the clouds in the sky. She was about to run on when two hands grabbed her. The next moment she was dragged into the house. She would have fought back if she was not on the brink of completely collapsing.
She looked back and saw a young couple. The woman had dark pink and purple eyes and lavender horns. The man had dark blue skin and white eyes and black horns. They were looking at her, shocked and confused.
"What on Nerth were you doing out there at this time?"
She frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"Are you an idiot?
She frowned and they pointed outside as it started raining. She, to her shock, saw the leaves of the trees were smoking and holes with black rings in the centre were appearing in them. She soon saw the trees were burning and the grass was smoking as the drops of rain fell.
"Oh."
"Yeah. The boiling rain always falls here at this time. So keep out of it."
"Urm… Thank you…Urm?"
"To Slither." Said the man.
"All Gift." Said the woman.
She nodded as he shook their hands.
"Loc." She said as her stomach growled.
Her eyes tensed as she could not help but feel the hunger pains.
"Hungry?"
She frowned as she looked away, feeling very embarrassed.
"Sorry."
"It's alright. We have enough for more. Come on."
She was soon dragged into the kitchen.
"So what is your story?"
"We have been set aside as soldier surrogates."
Did I just hear that correctly? They're what?
Then all the soldiers that she saw being killed and the ones that she and her team killed.
Best play dumb until I get to the bottom of this.
"'Soldier surrogates?'"
The man's lip curled.
"It means that all our children we have will be given over to the Emperor as part of his armies. We have had three children taken off the moment that they were born."
"And did you have a choice in this matter?"
"No." To Slither said as he took out the plates.
All Gift took out a box of blue cubes and put them on the plates. She then took out a group of orange cubes. They sat at the table and they started to eat.
"Tell me. What would happen if you started to fight back?"
Their faces became pale. She sighed as she shrugged.
"Just a thought experiment."
They soon relaxed.
"All our children will be killed and we will become sterilised. See, the Emperor believes that if one rebel appears in the bloodline, then all of the family must have a rebellious gene. Which he would want to cull." All Gift explained.
That was when she remembered the two old couples. Both were not allowed to have children. Now she knew that the second couple must have been rebels. Then they were sterilised for what they did and had their memories taken from them. Then she thought about the first couple. They must have had a relative that was a rebel and forced to endure what they did to ensure that they would never have given birth to another rebel.
She looked down.
"Which is why we can't afford to do anything that is against the Emperor." She said as she placed a hand on her stomach.
"After all, I am pregnant with another soldier."
That was when her stomach churned. She could feel her mind getting foggy. She looked up as she tried to focus her mind. She curled her hand as she tried to fight the sleepiness. Then her hands opened and limbs dropped. She hit her head and all went black.
When she woke, she saw the soldiers and she was in a vehicle. She could feel her arms and ankles being bound again. She soon broke them and punched the nearest one. She soon grabbed the nearest gun. Then she fired at one after the other. She did not let them have any time to react. She shot at the one in the shotgun and the driver.
She then opened the door and the bodies rolled out. She jumped out and collected gun after gun. She found one of the soldiers was her size and she took off her clothes and put his clothes on. She soon set it all alight before she marched away.
She soon came to another house. The door was opened to reveal a single woman. She had yellow skin and pale yellow horns and baby blue eyes.
She soon felt that she needed the loo.
"Come on."
"Why? Also is it alright if I used your loo?"
"Sure."
She walked in and soon did her business. She soon washed her hand and, no longer trusting stranger's food or drink, she drank the water from the tap. The water helped her throat and gave her strength and refreshed herself.
"Yes. She's there." She heard the woman say.
"Alright, thank you."
So she's betrayed my trust too.. She thought, taking out her gun. Honestly, will I ever get a break here?
No I won't. Not like this. So I must get used to this.
She slammed her back against the wall and waited patiently. Then the door barged open. The moment that she saw the soldier, she shot. She then moved him in as another walked in. She shot and moved in. Then one ran in and went to shoot but she shot first. Then another ran in and she shot. She did this again and again and again. She did not let her mind focus on anything else. As she continued she noticed that the bodies were getting so many that there were too many to pull in.
She dared to look out to see that there were more in the hallway in a row. She shot once and the entire row fell down. She then ran to the door.
I don't remember them being this incompetent.
She shot each and every one before they came in. Then she heard a clock of a gun next to her head. She looked back at the woman.
"Get out of here, you freak." She spat.
"What's your name?"
"Little Heart."
"What's your story?"
"I don't want to be infected by your illness. "
"What illness?"
"It's been reported that you only look the way that you do because of an illness that Father Of Knowledge created."
"Am I coughing? Do I look as if I am ill?"
"You look pale as death and you don't look the way we do, so yes."
She nodded.
Stupid question.
"I'll leave. Only if you tell me your story. What did the Evil Emperor do to you?"
"Me?" She asked, questioningly.
Her eyes widened as she broke out in a smile.
"He told me that one day, he will give me a husband when the right time comes."
"Oh? Do you have a relative that was a rebel?"
She groaned.
“Yes. My brother!”
"Then I'm sorry. He will never give you that husband.’
"What! That's a lie!”
"No I'm not. He will not. After all, he does want to breed out rebellious genes. By the way, are you still fertile?”
"Oh yes. Of course I am! Although, my periods have slowed down.”
"Did this happen before or after you came here?”
"After.”
"Talk to your neighbours. I'm certain that they’ll have a tale or two for you.” She said, leaving the house.
She spotted a truck. She climbed in and remembered what Life taught her and started dating up the road. It was strange driving on the road. She felt nostalgic for her old group and the team that she lost. She did not give Life the credit that she deserved. She noticed that she was wobbling on the road. She turned the wheel and accelerated the truck too fast and sharp. She had to play on the gears before she almost got it. Yet as she looked up, she noticed that she accidentally drove into a mountain face. Then she crashed.
She dived out of it and then it exploded. She ran away but then the ground shook. She hit the ground and she was about to get to her feet when she saw a large rock land right in front of her. She looked up to see more of them rain down upon her. She scrambled on her feet and ran, and ran. She found a tunnel and ran under it. She ran and ran and then spotted that the mouth became completely blocked.
So much for that.
She then turned and ran and ran down the tunnel. She felt like she had been running for miles and miles and hours and hours until she came to the end of the tunnel. Then once she was out a hand took her aside. She was then pulled into another home.
“Are you from another world?”
“Yes. Who are you?”
“Noble Guard. Here.” He said, giving her a book.
Why is he giving me a book?
She looked down to see what the book was all about.
Making Masks
And Their History
What? Why? Is he an ally?
“You need to have one. I can tell by looking at you that you're not of this world.”
Yes, he's an ally.
“Right.”
He then hit her.
“No. Take this more seriously. You need to keep your identity hidden. You also need to get a move on and get a rebellion in place. After all, I can tell that if you don't do it no one will. So take it more seriously, girl!’
She nodded.
“I will.”
“Then make your plan. Also you will need to get this.” He said, giving her a backpack. “It has all that you need and a phone that can not be tracked.”
“Thank you!”
“Now go!”
“By the way, why are you doing this?”
“Because they killed my family and violated my younger sister.”
“Did she have yellow skin and pale yellow horns and baby blue eyes?”
“No, she had pink eyes, green skin and white horns. Why?”
“There’s a woman with that description on the other side of the mountain. Her name is Little Heart. Go and find hey. She's looking for love. So would you look for her and tell her your story? Then find anyone else on this island and tell them your story. Find a way to open their eyes and rebel.”
He saluted.
“Will do.”
She smiled and ran as far and as fast as she could.
The Mask Of The Rebel
Loc hidden herself in the trees as she looked at the book. She read it as fast as she could. She had noticed that she was becoming less and less tired as she ran. Her mind became more alert and ready too. Yet she knew that sleeping was not a good idea as she did not want to be caught. She memorised the page and then checked her stolen phone. Then she typed on it.
Firecrys
She then looked at the sites where it was located as she could not go back to the library. She soon found a firecrys mine near the centre of the island. She also spotted that the name of the island was Rebpris. She also looked at the description of Rebpris.
If you catch a rebel they are to get taken here. This is where their
blood will be purified.
She then thought about all she had been through since escaping Wolf Raven and all the people that she had met.
So I need to get the firecrys and some metal. After all, I can't go around like this. They will know that I'm not normal instantly. So I also need a mould for my mask and some metal for my mask.
She looked at the firecrys mine and looked at all who were on duty for the day. She noticed that there were one hundred guards which would not have been a problem if she still has her team with her. Then she looked at the prisoner count. This was three hundred.
Good, at least there's the hope.
Armed with this information, she put away the phone and jumped down. She ran and ran. She tried to keep off the roads as much as she could. She also did not want to risk another crash. No, that was painful. So she did not even try to take a car or turn to hitchhiking. So she kept running and running. She even jumped in the trees and jumped from branch to branch. Mainly to keep the home of her tail.
She soon arrived at the mine. To her surprise there were two. Both bestie each other. One looked like it was completely in business. With all the others on and the nose was coming from it. The other one had all of us metal covered in rust and the buildings were either college or had gaping holes in them.
Go there.
So she ran to the empty mine. She noticed that the gears were all rusty and that there were several trees dividing the old mine and the new one. So she felt confident as she jumped at one of the old roasted metal fences and climbed. She was soon over and jumped down.
She saw an old desk with a dirty window. With rusty doors and hinges. With dust and dirt coating it. She walked on and was in.
She looked around and spotted that there were tracks like a train that was coated in rust work well preserved wood wedged in it. She looked to her left to see another desk area that had rusty walls and doors and dirty windows.
She walked to the mining car and spotted that there was a lever.
Wow! This is me re like my world! She thought as she jumped inside.
Good. It makes it all the more easier to manage.
She then pressed down. This caused a loud sound like a strange scream. She stopped for a moment and looked around. She hoped that it had not been heard. She felt her heartbeat in her ears as dreaded another painful fight.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Go.
Seeing that she was in the clear she continued to press down and then up and then down and the car moved forward. She knew that she could only hope that the noise that she was making was being drowned out. She moved on and on and on and soon she was in the tunnel.
Then came the drop. She found it difficult to slow as the car raced down the old rusty tracks. She was going faster and faster and faster. Soon she was racing down and her hair was being whipped back by the wind. Yet then there was nothing she could do to stop the momentum. Soon she saw a dip as the track turned to straighten out. She knew that she had to slow the car or she would have another painful crash. But as soon as she reached it, the g force caused her to hit the floor of the car as it rushed on. She climbed back up and realised that she was still speeding on the track. Then she felt the car slowing back down.
Knowing that it would soon stop she climbed to her feet and pushed down and up again and again to keep it from stopping. She did this again and again and could feel her arm muscles ache as she felt just how heavy it was. Yet she knew that she had to keep going. Keep pushing down and pulling up. She looked on and as she did she spotted, to her utter dread, another dip. Yet she continued nevertheless until she dropped.
Then the speed picked up and soon she was thrown to the left and the car almost flung off the tracks. She had to push on the right side of the car to push it down.
This is madness!
Then came another turn and it was the other side that was in the air. She pressed down with her legs and feet. When she forced it down she felt another curve to a flat surface. This caused her to hit the bottom of the car. For a while she was out cold.
She was woken up by hitting the cold rack. She pulled herself up to see the rocks ahead of her. She then noticed that there were skeletons embedded in the rocks as their bones were crushed. She then noticed that there were shards of firecrys growing from the rocks and bones.
She climbed to her feet and took an old axe. Then she hit the nearest firecrys. She did this again and again until she had a small amount on the floor. Then she looked back at the old tracks and the walls.
I could climb all that! She thought as she walked to the wall and to the car.
She hit and hit the old metal. She broke it apart. Then she turned to the rock and hammered at a ledge that was sticking out. She then caught it. Then she put it to her face and spotted that it would only cover her mouth. So she dropped it. Then moved onto another. Even though it was too large and was twice the size she needed it to be, she was able to hit it and it broke in half. Too short again. So she moved onto another and another until she had the perfect one
Now, how would this mask look?
Basic.
And?
Put an X at the top with an R and an L at either side of it.
She then took a small rock and a small stone and soon drew them and she hammered in the holes for her eyes and nose.
Maybe I should make the X bigger.
She did.
Perfect.
She then spent every waking hour and moment scraping at a large rock. Day in and day out until the mould was soon made. She then, knowing that she would have to hide her eyes, then went to light the firecrys underneath the mould. While that was heating up, she hammered at and broke apart the rusty metal. She then carved out a bowl from another rock and put the rusted metal in. She lit the firecrys to melt the metal and purify it and rid it of its rust. Then she poured it into her mould. Once the metal had moved equally around the mould, she used the bowl to keep it so. Then she put out the firecrys and waited for it to cool and dry before putting it on. After she continued to work upon it until she came to the nose passage and pricked two holes into it. Then she put a thin shard of firecrys at each of the eye holes and melted them in place.
She looked at her iron mask with firecrys for the eyes and she soon noticed that the R, X and L were both shaky.
It'll do. She thought, putting on the mask, yet despite it not being perfect, she could not help but feel proud that she was able to make such a good mask the first time. Yet she had to admit that the book held good and clear instructions.
The Freeing Of The Slaves
Loc looked at her guns and picked up her pickaxe and remembered the layout of the land and building. It waa time to make her move regardless of whether or not she was ready. She then looked to the wall on her left. If her memory was right, then she should have been able to dig her way to the lower levels of the next mine. There, she would have to act fast. Then she would have to pass the weapons on faster.
That was when she remembered one thing which could prevent her from putting her plan into action.
But what if they all have those collars on?
Yes, that could be bad, after all then it wouldn't matter if I give them guns they'll be dead within seconds.
Then I will have to take them off first, then give them the guns. If what I have read is accurate then there must be a way to whack them off.
So she put on her mask and hit the firecrys and collected as many shards as she could pocket the moment that they fell. She then turned to the wall and hit the wall again and again and again. She had to push past the strength of the wall. She had to strike again and again sometimes at different angles to increase the impact of each strike. It barely took long for her to break through to the other end. She then looked around.
She soon spotted the collars on three men. They were thin but toned. They all had silver horns. She could see an angry and tired look in their glowing purple eyes. They were all sweating buckets then looked up at her. She quickly, before she could have the chance to hesitate, swung at one of the collars and it broke off. She then swung at the next collar and then the last.
“Here, do the same to all the others. And move fast.” She called, trying to make sure that the guards were not alerted.
He nodded and struck the collar of the nearest prisoner. She soon hit another and he hit another. And soon he hit another collar and they all freed more and more. They did all to hit more and more collars without alerting the guards. She continued again and again until she knew that she didn't need to continue and the others took over from her work.
Then a guard finally noticed this and took out his rectangular box with a red button on. He pressed it. They all flinched for a moment, but they suddenly realised that they were not being electrocuted they all looked at him. He hit the button again and again but it did nothing. Then, before she could fire at him, he shot himself.
“Come on! There are more to be freed. So spread out and take those collars off.”
“Right. By the way, who are you anyway?”
“The Sorrowful Rebel. That is all you need to know about me right now.”
He nodded, clearly wanting to ask more but for some reason decided against it.
“Right.” He said as he turned around.
“Then get on with it!”
“What will you be doing?”
“Finding the thing that will get all those collars off! After all, that'll make all our jobs all the more easier!”
“Right, then go on from here. You should see it!”
“Thank you!”
She then ran on and on and spotted a computer. She looked at it and spotted that the screens of the computer were showing all the activities happening in the mine. She then noticed that there was a guard coming to the one that she first freed. She then spotted a microphone with a button on. She quickly pressed the button.
“You! Behind you!”
He looked back and hit the guard before he could fire. She looked around and spotted another coming to them.
“Quick, there's a guard coming to you!”
He turned around.
“Right!”
He then struck the collar of one and then he did another and another. Then, the guard came into view, he hit the guard. Then he then returned to his task.
She then returned to the computer and looked for the application relating to the collars. She soon found it. She remembered all that To Open had taught her and typed the buttons and then saw a box.
Activate Deactivate
She clicked on the deactivate button and the collars all fell down.
“Right. Now all of you, fight back!” She shouted.
“Right.”
Then they all ran to all of the guards and they struck them. She soon then looked at the other appliances on the computer. She looked at the collars and noticed that all the slaves that were here and all their collars could be broken on here in the computer! She then deactivated all of them. This caused all the guards to be killed.
She then looked at all the other places that she needed to go to next. After all, she knew that this was the first step. She knew that she needed to prepare for that. So after that, she took her axe and was when she was about to go and get more firecrys when she was approached by the first that she freed
“My name is First Son. Thank you!”
“It’s alright. However I do have to ask, have we taken the whole mine?”
“Yes.”
“Then I will have to move in. After all, this is the first step.”
“Then what do we need to take that next step?”
“Can you make weapons?”
“Yes, we all do.”
“Then that is the next step.”
The Rounds
She then looked at the map of the factory and the island that they were on, thinking about where they should go next. First Son was next to her on her right, which her gut told her that it was a good idea to heed his advice.
“There is a weapon's factory here.” First Son said, pointing to a building that was ahead of them on the same road that led to the mines.
“Then we need to take that, if that's alright with you I would like to take one hundred with me.”
“And the rest?”
“Guarding the mines.”
“Right, then I will get them.”
She nodded.
“Then I will look up exactly what we are in for.”
“Alright.”
He matched out as she returned to the computer. She could tell that there were two hundred guards and two hundred slave workers. She read which floors they were all on. She also looked at the map and noticed that the best way in was under and around.
So fifty under, fifty around me included.
Right, is there a way to get this map on other devices?
She looked back. "
“Urm… Is- how do you get this in other devices?” She asked.
One of the others came to her. He has white skin and black eyes and horns.
“Here.” He said as he clicked the file icon and print.
“How many do you want?”
“One hundred and one.” Loc said.
“Right.” He said, clicking then quantity.
101
Soon the printer clicked on. This made her jump slightly. Yet she had to let out a deep breath as she had to remind herself that it was the sound of any guards. She then looked at the corner as she saw the printer slip out a perfect image of the map of the weapon's factory. Then came another after another. Soon she had one hundred and one maps in her hand.
She then handed them all our and told them the plan. She then looked at First Son.
“I will be putting you in charge of the group that will be coming from below. I will be coming in the section that will be going around. Are you all ready?”
“Yes.”
She felt a flicker of a smile on her lips as she looked back at the one that helped her with the printer.
“What's your name?’
“New.”
“Well, New, do you want to come with me? You can drive!”
“Alright.”
“Good.”
Because I am not going to try that again!
They were soon off. They drove to the next gate. She looked back.
“Are you ready?”
“Hardly matters. We need those guns.” She admitted, getting out.
She then looked back.
“Keep by the trees, and make sure that you are all well hidden.” She called.
They all climbed a tree located all around the factory. She looked up and then looked at the guards. All had ten rounds in and ten more in the other. She then called the others with the phones that they stole and after knowing all were in place. She sent the signal.
She fired at one and another. Making sure that she killed two as quickly and painlessly as she could. With the other fifty killing two she knew that they had killed one hundred. Then more came out. She fired at two and the others and the rest followed.
That's all of them dead. She thought, dropping.
“That was-”
New, took hold of her arm.
“No. We need to get in so we need to stop the electricity running throughout the fence.”
“Right then why don't we go now?”
“That's a job for Noble Wolf. He's nearest to the electrical box.”
“And which one is that?”
He dialled the number on the phone and gave her the phone.
“Yes?”
“Can you get rid of the electric box that leads to the fence?”
“Will do!”
He then hung. She waited for a long time until he called her back.
“Done.”
She smiled.
“Good work!’
She walked in and soon entered the factory. She then saw the people with collars around their necks. She soon found the computer and the collars fell. Then called a meeting in the mail hall.
“You no longer need to fear. You are all free to do whatever you want now! You can follow my cause or go and live your lives however you please! I will not judge you for it and I hope that you all have long and happy lives. You are free!”
