The Sorrowful Rebel Chapter Eight Fall Of The Rebel

 Freeing Of The Slaves

It had been almost a month since Light Bringer’s death. Loc knew that the first thing that she had to do was free all the slaves, or at least as many as she could before the Evil Emperor killed them all. So she started with the biggest slave encampment outside of the islands that she and her group conquered, that she could find. She knew that she had to do it as quickly as she could before the guards found out. So she had quickly sent her people to the base as new guards.

She used all that she had learnt over the past year so the moment that she arrived, she was able to sneak in and do so without raising any alarms. When she did this, she came with several guns in a black backpack and on her belt. This way the moment that she was able to get those collars off she would not need to spend that much time on going to and fro to pick up a weapon each.

She looked for those with an R, X or L around their necks. This told her that they were of her rebellion. This, she knew, would help her when it came time to act. She hid behind a corner to look for them and saw that they had them on, among those that did not.

Good.

She walked down the corridors and saw a group of slaves. At first she wondered if they were digging for firecrys but upon seeing that there was not a speck of it there. It became clear that they were all being forced to dig for digging’s sake. There was nothing else to it. She could see that their hands were bloody and covered in blisters and others had long scars and scabs on their backs.

She then had an idea. She gave the weapons to all the ones that had infiltrated the slave camp. She then took a pick axe and started digging.

She dug and dug. This caused her adrenaline to rise. She knew the moment that she was seen they would come for her. She then raised her axe until they came. One placed their hand on her shoulder.

“Alright,time for a whipping!”

“Why?”

“Masks like yours are banned here.”

Loc then swung to the left and took his head clean off. She then saw more and swung left to right, making sure that she did not harm the ones that were here undercover. She then raised her thumb.

The collars fell. She threw the weapons and the guards that were on her side took them and handed them out among the slaves.

They looked at them and then up.

Yet, it was during this time of confusion, Loc shot at the ones that did not wear the chain around their necks. Then ran on.

“Get all those weapons and spread them to as many people captured here as you can handle. Also tell them not to fire at anyone with a necklace with an R X or L around their necks.”

They all nodded.

She ran on and on. She spotted some coming at them. She ran up to a group of soldiers and scooped up a firecrys shard and lit it. She quickly noticed that they were not wearing the necklaces so she threw it at them. She quickly shot at them before they could recover. She then ran in and spotted another group. They went to shoot at her and she ducked out of the way. She looked at their necks. They were not part of her group. She took out another shard and threw it at them and as it reached close to the group she fired at it and this caused it to explode.

She looked back at a group that had all their guns at her. She was about to get shot at when another group of guards with the necklaces turned their guns to the group and fired at them before they could fire a single shot. Then she saw a group of freed slaves go to fire at rebel guards.

She was about to stop them and explain the situation. She was then hit in the side. She was a guard with orange skin with red eyes and steel coloured horns. She then went to punch him but he did not budge. She went to kick him but that did nothing either.

He chuckled.

She took out her sword and went to swing her sword at him but he grabbed her by the arm. She then let out a sigh and raised the barrel of her gun and fired at him.

Why did I not do that sooner? She wondered as she ran on.

She soon came to another group of slaves. She soon shared all the guns.

“Don’t shoot at the ones with the necklaces.” She told them.

They nodded as they ran on as she took off the collars.

She soon ran on and came to another group of guards and fired at the ones that did not have the necklaces. Then they continued on and soon the slaves got the memo and stopped firing at the undercover rebels and soon they had the slaves all freed. Then Wiser Sister and her group were attending the injured and those that needed medical attention. Some stayed with the rebellion and others went to live in peace.

In Fighting

In the base, the newly freed slaves looked at the rebels that had been disguised as the guards. Some remembered that during this time some had wiped them to retain their disguise some had to do worse. Yet even though it has been explained to them their scars were a thing that they could not ignore. They had to get their justice. They could not even think of the thought that they could work with that group. They just could not stand the idea of fighting alongside then.

For over a long couple of days they would work with them. Just to pretend that they were working well with them. That was alright and well but as the week wore on they could feel their contempt growing and growing by the day. This turned to hate and then it turned to rage. Soon they could not stand the sight of them. That this reached a boiling point.

This all was let out when one of them punched the rebels. They looked up at them momentarily shocked. This made their lips curl as they pounced on them. They all punched the rebels again and again and again. They were completely blinded by their hate and anger. They were so blinded by their rage that they did not notice that they had started to punch the ground and not the face of the rebels. Soon their knuckles were covered in blood.

Then they were hit.

“What was that for?”

“You know what that was for!”  They all replied at the same time, their eyes were filled with a murderous rage.

They all ripped off their shirts showing their scars. While they looked at them with wide eyes they punched them in the guts again and again until they started to spit out blood. Seeing their passive look caused their rage to overflow. Then something in their minds just snapped. They were soon sitting on their backs and clutching their neck.

That was when they were hit by a wave of fire. They looked at where the fire came from to see Sorrowful.

“What is going on here?”

“As if you wouldn't know!” They replied, pointing to the scars.

She nodded. She let out a huff. She gestured for them to come to her. They rolled their eyes in anger. Yet they moodily walked up to her. She then rolled her sleeve up revealing a white peach skin. They soon saw the scar on her arm.

“The Evil Emperor did not do that but I know what it is like to feel great pain. Shortly before I came here my very soul was wounded. So, tell me, what is this all about?”

“Do I need to say?”

She let out a passive sigh.

“Yes. Vocalising these things is important. After all, I need to know at least. I am the leader so I will think of the appropriate punishment for them.”

They shook their heads. She reached out her hand and placed a hand on one of them.

“Please. It is important to help resolve this situation.”

How did Ringer do this?

“They beat us while they were undercover.”

She looked at the other rebels, her mask hiding the shock and anger that she felt.

“Is this true?”

“Yes, we are all sorry.”

Her head bowed. She remained silent for a while.

“In that case, you are all going to go to Dawnfree. There, you must remain to help Sword as much as you can. As for you, you will all be designated to Wiser Sister, there you will stay until your psychological healing is complete. Have you got that?”

“Oh? Why her? Shouldn’t you do it?”

“I would do. However, I do not have the necessary skills to do that. That is why you will go to her and not me. Now you lot, come with me.” She snapped as they followed her.

“Tell me, why did you do that to them?”

“To maintain our cover.”

“Did you have to do that?”

“What did you expect?”

“You, doing it as a very last resort. Or at least making sure that that wouldn’t happen.”

She soon put them on the ship.

They were there all done within three days and they were kept well away from each other until it was all done.

Wolf Raven’s Decoration

It had been less than a day since Loc had to send that group to Dawnfree when the telly vision sprung to life. Almost on its own. In fact all screens lit up and sprung alive. This all kicked up a buzz throughout the rebellion and the rest of the world, who were all forced to watch at the time. Yet none of them knew why yet but none of them were brave enough to ask. So they all kept as quiet as they could as they all watched the screens.

Loc, meanwhile, looked at it, feeling both confused and curious, wondering why it had done so. Only for her eyes to rest up on none other than Wolf Raven which soon answered her questions. This lit a fire of rage throughout her body and mind like the fire of a furnace. She thought about her team and their dead bodies. She remembered just how little of a chance that each of them had. They all had their dreams, ambitions and plans cut. Almost like a farmer cutting down his harvest. Then she thought about the people that she met and those were killed before she set up her own rebellion. She felt her blood boil like a kettle and she was just waiting for her time to explode.

“Hello. I guess that you now know that I am both Wolf Raven and your Emperor. After all that Sorrowful has done I have decided to do this in her honour. Yes, I have finally shown your face, after all these centuries. Yes, for centuries I have lived, for centuries, I have ruled over you all, for centuries you have known my ruling hand but not my face. All from the shadows I have been proudly able to shape this world and I never had to show my face once!”

He then took a moment. He kept quiet as he waited to give all that were watching time to let it all settle in. Then process his words. She felt a rush in her body as she knew what this meant. She knew that he knew that people would need time to let all of that sink in She knew that she should stop and turn it off mainly to stop morale from being lost, but she had to watch on.

“Now, the reason is that, just as you used a T.V. as your mode of declaring war upon me, I use it to declare war upon you! Yes, I did just say that! Yes, I have seen all that you have done. Yes, I am recognising you as an official threat against me and my empire. Yes, I have heard about the death of my son Light Bringer and I have to say; well done!”

He let out a laugh as he clapped enthusiastically.

“Well done! Well done! Well done! Bravo! You have done well! My dear, you are more than I could have ever dreamed of!”

He let out a long and loud laugh. Then, after a long laughing fit, he let out a sigh as he looked directly into the camera. Which made her feel uncomfortable. She felt like he was looking directly at her. She knew that this part was for her. Everything else was just for show. Nothing more nothing less. She knew that she should have turned it off right there and then before she could hear another word. She knew that if she did not ten she would make a costly mistake.

“Sorrowful, over the past couple of months you have done well, taking over the prison islands. You have done well in amassing an army. You have done well in freeing all that you have. You have done well in inspiring the will for freedom.”

He raised his hands and he and many others started to clap. He then turned his hands down and they all stopped.

“You have proven yourself worthy. So I have to say this: Sorrowful, I will give you my all! I will battle you and your silly rebellion and if you are who I think you are, by the end of this, I will leave you a broken immortal!”

“And I will kill you!” She shouted before she could stop herself.

“If you accept, you know where to find me.”

Journey To The

Water Base

Loc looked at the list of names in front of her. She wondered which group of men she should take upon her return to the water base. The one that she escaped from all those weeks ago. She wished that Ringer was here, telling her who’s best to take, but he was not. No, he was most likely dead. So she would have to make the decisions on her own. Yet she could not help but feel herself missing him and his orders but could not give into her sorrow.

So she had to pick and pick fast. She then chose fifty of the list, not wanting to leave the place unguarded. Making sure that she left people that did not need her orders to know what to do. After all, it would do no good to leave people here that can only follow if Evil Emperor Wolf Raven would send his men here to kill everyone.

She soon assembled them and walked to the Captain.

“You sure about this?” First Son asked.

“Yes. There seems to be no other opportunity to take out the head.”

Also I can not afford to look weak. Not here and certainly not now!

“But this is clearly a trap!”

“I know, but I must take the risk!”

Also, I know and I can’t appear to be a coward.

“But why?”

“Simple, do you think that Wolf Raven would allow another opportunity to rise up? Also, it would look weak if we didn’t go.”

Dart!

“But it’s you he wants. So why go?”

“Simple. It’s the best way to call his bluff.” She said, climbing aboard.

They were soon all on board the ship. They left the docks and Loc pulled out a map. She felt a strange feeling was over her. She felt the determination, yet there was a mix of excitement and fear as she felt almost vulnerable. However she knew that this was not the time to dwell on the emotions that were coursing through her body like the blood in her vanes.

Then she saw the ship on the horizon. She let out a deep breath as she looked at the captain.

“Is that one of ours?”

“No.”

“Then we must prepare for a fight.”

“Aye. We do.”

“Then all hands on deck! All of you! Attack the ship and strike before the other ship has the chance to.”

“Yes ma’am!” They all said.

They quickly took their places. She ran to the front of the ship. She closed her eyes and drove a good dose of her heat into the cannons. Then, when the smoke rose, they aimed at the front of the ship. They then fired and it hit. Yet still the ship came closer and closer. She lowered the cannons and drove some of her heat into the cannons and fired above where the ship and water met.

That was when she felt a shudder around the ship. She looked to the left to see a second ship!

She looked back and half ran to the left. She hit the side. She then drove some of her heat into the cannons. When the smoke rose, she and the rest fired. They all hit the side of the ship. She, knowing that she had to trust them, drove her attention back to the first ship.

She noticed that there were two more ships behind the first one. She then helped reload the cannons. She lowered it to where the water and the ship met. She then fired at the spot. This hit and the water flooded in.

Yes!

She then turned her attention to the shops behind. She then went to aim for the same spot then she realised that she needed to stop them in their place. She raised her cannons up and fired at the cabin. This hit. She then turned to the left one and fired at that cabin. She took a glance at the other ship which was a sailing ship.

She then looked back and fired at the part where the water and the hull met. She then blew another hole. She looked around for more ships and spotted another coming. She quickly shot at the cabin as the others blasted holes in the front of the ship. She scanned for more and noticed that there were none left.

So, as they sailed on, she looked around as she played with the pendant around her neck. She noticed that some had concoctions and some were unconscious. She pulled her hand away from her pendant and helped attend to the injured. As soon as she was done, she looked for more ships. Keeping her mind focused.

She soon found one. She ran to the cannon and fired at the ship as it came closer and closer to them. She then lowered the cannon and fired at where the ship and the water met. It hit the ship and it still came closer and closer. She raised it to the cabin and then hit the cabin. Only for it to hit only the left of it. It still came closer and closer. She pumped heat into the cannon and fired again. It still came closer and closer. Soon she noticed just how big the ship was. It was massive and her ship was dwarfed by it. She quickly hit the part where the ship and the water met again and again, pumping more and more heat into each firecrys ball. This caused a row of holes to be blown into the ship. So, as the ship came closer and closer, it took on more and more water.

She then pulled up as the others joined her. They fired at the people at the other ship’s cannons and fired before they even had the chance. Once they were all taken out, Loc returned to demolishing the ship. She pumped her heat into all of the cannons that she could. Once there was smoke rising they fired. They did this again and again until the fire had risen on the whole of the left hand side of the ship. She had noticed that it was sinking too. Yet she knew that it was sinking far too slowly for her liking.

So, as she started blasting the ship and blowing holes in it, she felt a blast behind her. She was pushed forward slightly. She had to reach out and found herself dangling over the side of the ship. She pushed herself up and looked up to see that they had replaced the cannons. She looked back to see that the cabin was still mostly intact.

Once she was back on board, she returned her attention to the cannons. They fired at them again and again until the cannons and the floor were all taken out. She returned to the rest of the ship. They all fired again and again. Soon it was sinking rapidly and was soon beneath the waves.

“Yeah!” They all called.

“Come, we will celebrate once we have seen to the injured.”

They collected the unconscious and attended the wounded. Then she saw the water base that she was held captive on the horizon.

Arrival

The moment their ship hit the docks the bullets fired at them. They all soon fired at the soldiers on the edge then they dived at the edge. One group fired at one each of the soldiers before quickly ducking behind the closest thing they could find before the next set of soldiers fired. They did this again and again, making sure to note the rhythm of the opponents bullets before making their strike. As they did they made sure that they did not take as many risks as they could afford. They continued on and fired at one after the other. As they progressed the sound of bullets became less and less. Then they ceased.

Right time to move on.

They all looked at Loc. She gestured for them to stop. She slowly raised to her feet. She looked on and saw more coming. She quickly crouched as fast as she could before the rain of bullets hit her.

“Another round’s coming!”

“Right.”

“What? Oh! Another round’s coming!” Shouted one that was out of reach.

The rest around her rolled their eyes.

“Ash Tree Grove! Pay attention!”

“Sorry! I will!”

She shook her head as she raised to their feet and shot at one then ducked. The next group rose up and shot at them and ducked. Loc’s row sprang up and shot. They continued this again and again. As they did, the more that they took out, the more came. They continued this until they had run out of bullets.

“Stay here. I'll go and get magazines.”

They nodded. She charged as fast as she could along the decks. She felt several bullets in her as she ran below the decks and soon took out two boxes of magazines. She pulled them out and ran back to her post. She rushed as she handed them all a magazine each. Then returned to her post. She quickly reloaded her gun.

“Are you alright?”

“I’ll live.” She said as she returned to firing at the soldiers.

They all fired at soldier after soldier. They did this until they ran out of bullets and she ran on and collected more. This caused more bullets to enter her body. They did this until no more soldiers came.

“Wait.”

He nodded.

There, they waited as she listened for even the softest of sounds. Yet the only thing that she heard saw the sound of the sea. She counted in her head as she waited until she knew that she should lead them on. She rose to her feet. She looked around to see that there were no soldiers anywhere near the dock.

“Right. Follow me once I give you the thumbs up.”

“Right.”

She walked on the plank. She ran down the path. She stood there and looked around. She noticed that there was nothing around. She walked around and then ran up the stairs. Only to find that there was no one. She looked down and gave them the thumbs up. They soon joined her.

A Taken Stronghold

The moment that Loc opened the door they were met by a rain of bullets. She quickly backed away. One came out and she shot him. Then they saw more and more come out. She soon shot at all that she could see as they came out. Yet the ones that inner rows were all able to come out. The outer group of the rebels were able to take them out. She then looked in and spotted that more and more were coming. She shot at one after the other. Then shot at them the moment that they came in. She did this again and again and then ran in.

She saw a group in front of her. They then went to fire at her but she ran out and dived to the doorway. She then fired at one after the other. Then she ran back in and the others followed. They all shot before the soldiers could do anything. They ran on and on. They shot soldier after soldier.

So far so good! Right, now it’s time for the moment of truth.

Then one hit one of the rebels. She fell. Then the closest to the rebel woman looked down at her dead body. Rage entered his eyes and eclipsed his heart. One that reminded her of when the men of her old team looked at Wolf Raven once he had taken down the women of the group. Soon she could almost see how this was going in her mind’s eye. He ran on and on and fired at as many as he could. He did not care whether or not he died. He killed one after the other. Soon he killed a great deal before he died, giving them all a good chance to clear the rest.

“Thank you and I am sorry. I hope that you two find each other and be happy, wherever you are.”

She ran to him. Reading the room, she picked him up and laid him beside the woman rebel. She looked back and ran and on and on. She turned a corner to see more guns pointing at her. Looking back she knew that she had to do more than be cautious. Yet, despite this they had to push on, however she could feel the tiredness starting to seep in. She could see that her team was also feeling it too.

She then ran on and on and fired at one after the other. Then the others fired again and again. She kept an eye on each member of her group. Then fired at one after the other. She soon cleared up the hallway. She turned another corner only to see that there were more dead bodies on her side. However she was still confident that they could still take the rest of the sea base.

She ran on and on. She soon spotted more and more ahead. She spotted that they were well built. They ran to them. They all shot at each row and the others climbed over the bodies and shot at each of the rebels. However, to minimise the casualties, Loc shot at them as she pushed on with all her will. She took out a pouch of firecrys and lit a shard. Then threw it at the pile of dead bodies. This set them all alight.

They ran on and fired at one after the other. One ran on and jumped through the flames. She ran on to meet him and flicked a lot firecrys at him and fired at it. Then the other rebels soon shot at him too and were soon shot at. Once the flames died down the soldiers were all dead.

They ran on and saw a group of people on the ground. They all had pale faces. They all looked around only to find nothing but a pile of dead bodies. So they collected the dead and gathered them all at the entrance. There they burnt both rebels and soldiers. Both the ones that they killed and the ones that killed themselves.

“Did you find him?”

“No. But we did find something in the cell on the ground floor.” He said with an ominous tone.

Suddenly she felt dread enter the pit of her stomach. A dread that she recognised. It was the exact same dread that she felt when her team died. Upon feeling this, she felt her heart pounding in her head like the sound of thunder.

“I’m coming.”

A Nasty Shock

Loc entered the cell that she had just been held in just a couple months ago. She felt cold and nausea, cling to the back of her throat like a parasite. She massaged her chest as she remembered what he did. She could feel the sweat making herself colder and this made her feel more ill. There she saw a television screen next to the gap. Then it suddenly turned on and she felt the dread make her stomach churn.

“Hello, Sorrowful. If you are here then it confirms it. You are who I thought that you were.” He then took a break as he could not help but break out in a gift of laughter. “And I must say, my dear, congratulations.”

Then he licked his lips.

“Hold on, he knows who you are? How?” Asked First Son.

“I was part of the previous rebellion. This is how I know him too.” She said, not taking her eyes off the screen once.

“Right.”

“Hold on, that must be how you found out!”

“Yes. He killed the team that his son gave me to lead.” She spoke with such a dangerous venom that she never knew she had.

“Now tell me, did you really think that I would actually be here?”

Suddenly, shock rippled throughout her body. Which was quickly replaced with utter rage.

“If so then, by far, you are far more foolish than I thought! Which, I admit, I am quite disappointed in you for that. I thought you were smarter than that. Yet I have to commend you nevertheless for coming this far! Now it is my turn to act and I think that I will start here. Good luck at getting to shore this time!”

The telly vision became black. Loc looked around.

“We need to get back to the ship!”

“Why? What is it?”

BANG!

Ripples ran throughout the water base. Quickly Loc ran to the entrance and ran out. Before them was a ship that had become inflamed and a hole had been blown out of the centre. Instantly Loc ran to the ship. She ran on to the ship to see that the deck was littered with the dead. She ran below the deck to see that all had their throats slit and others had been blown to pieces! She ran down floor after floor only to see that there were piles and piles of bodies

Then she saw the water flooded the lowest floor. Still hoping that there were still survivors she dived on. She swam deeper and deeper. Only to find that she was surrounded by the dead floating all around. She noticed that shells and a man that had joined the rebellion recently held onto a detonator in his hand. With a bloody blade in the other!

Then she heard the Dulles sound of gunfire. She swam up to see that the water had risen. She ran up the stairs with the water on her tail. She, knowing that she did not have time to focus upon that, ran to the upper decks. She soon ran to the top and noticed that the ship had sunk fast. She ran along the deck and jumped off the ledge and onto the water base.

She looked back to see the rest of the ship sank beneath the waves. She then looked up to see more ships coming on the horizon. Then she heard another explosion behind her. She looked back to see that the gunfire had ceased. Her eyes widened to see the water base explode again and again.

That was when the base was hit again and again. She scrambled onto her feet as she ran into the water base only to see a pile of dead bodies in front of her. She ran in and further on. She saw more and more of the dead. She soon saw Wiser Sister looking at her as she was shot. She looked at the one that shot her. Only to see another woman, who had joined the rebellion recently.

She felt shock, ripple throughout her body. She felt like she had been stabbed in the gut even though she knew that there was not a blade in her body. She just could not believe that she had had two of Wolf Raven’s spies in her ranks. Her mind raced to process the events.

I should have known! How could I be so foolish?

Then she felt another blast to the left. Killing the nameless woman. She looked to the left to see the next ball coming. She dived ahead to dodge it.

She ran on looking for someone, anyone, who was alive. Yet she could not find them. She only found more and more of the dead. Then she noticed the bomb almost appear out of nowhere in front of her. She turned and ran and ran and she felt a blast fling her across the room. She hit the broken wall. She rolled over the sharp edge and looked at the balcony ahead. She felt pain flared in her stomach and back like fire.

She knew that none were alive. She should get away from the water base soon and as fast as possible. She pulled herself up and got to her feet as her blood fell upon them. She felt the itching as her insides and back and stomach healed. She felt herself shaking as she felt a hollow feeling in her chest. Her mind could not focus as she felt dizzy. She quickly stumbled as she tried to run. Then she hit her head. She got up again and she ran on and on. Then she felt something hit the back of the head. Everything went black.

“Fool.” Wolf Raven said as he picked her up.

“Now, my dear, time for the final curtain to fall.” He said as he kissed her cheek.

A One Sided Fight

It had been barely a week after Wolf Raven:s declaration when Sword and Warrior, who were now married, saw the shops coming. She called her group to arks, but she soon heard the sound of gunfire. She, angrily, raced to the group. Only to see, to her shock, an army of Wolf Raven’s soldiers firing at her group. She even saw that there were not just hundreds but thousands of them!

She has barely been able to utter a single word as her group shot one after the other. Yet three shot one down. Then another shot one after the other until he was shot. Another shot one, two then he fell. Another shot two, then three then he was shot. Another shot two, three and after shooting another two he got shot. Another shot at two and then three and after three more hr fell. Another shot three, then two, then three, then was shot.

After one row was taken out, another quickly replaced them. Then the rebels were shot. Yet they continued to fire at the soldiers taking one after the other out. However she knew that it was only a matter of time until they would run out of rebels.

“What?”

“We need to act. Quickly? Split then up!” She shouted as she took out her gun.

She then looked at the further soldiers. She fired at one after the other. She could tell that she was in a losing battle, but she was not going out without a good fight! She fired at one after the other. She fired one at the back and then went on to take one out after the other. She was not counting, she just wanted to take out as many as possible as she could.

She took a glance down and saw that her numbers were ever decreasing. She forced herself to take her mind off that. She forced herself to look back at the soldiers. She fired at one after the other and did this again and again. Then, as she reloaded, she took a glance back. The rebels were becoming smaller and smaller. However she knew that there was nothing that she could do.

Then came the tanks. They blasted at one group of soldiers. Then another group and another and another. This filled her with hope as they wiped out one after the other. She could even hear the cheer as they took out ten, twenty, thirty at a time. She started to smile as they took out more and more. She felt energised as she returned to firing at one after the other.

That was when she heard the explosion behind her. She looked back to see that the firecrys mine was nothing but an inferno and rubble! Her jaw dropped as another bomb dropped and soon the weapon’s factory was taken out.

What? What is going on?

That was when she saw all the ships at the shoreline. The cannons all raised and with one shot from all, all the tanks were taken out! She then saw all the rebels were all taken out. Within one explosion she and her husband followed.

Within more and more explosions by both bombs and cannon shots the island was completely destroyed. However they still continued to bomb and fire at it again and again. Soon the ocean washed through the decreased shoreline. However they still continued. Soon the mine was flooded. They continued again and again. The island became nothing but rubble. Yet they still continued to attack the island. Then the rubble washed away and the rest of the island was deep below the waves. Then the plains and the ships left.

Prisoner

Loc made her eyes dart around in a sharpened state of kind. She still had her mask on, however she could not see a single thing. She felt the cuffs around her wrists and ankles, just like when she was the prisoner of Wolf Raven last time. She could feel something tight around her waist. She knew that must be a cuff too. It was all too clear that Wolf Raven was not taking any chances this time.

Her head lifted slightly as she felt someone stroking her arm. The next thing she felt was the hot breath on her neck and making its way under her mask.

“Hello, my dear Loc.” Wolf Raven said in her ear.

He moved his way from her arm and to her mask. She tried to jerk away from him but the cuffs held her firmly in place. It was all too clear that she could do nothing but wait for him to do whatever he planned to do to her. She could feel her heart in her ear as fear started to rise within her. Her breath became rapid as she let out a scream that was almost like a squeak.

She felt him place a hand on her shoulder.

“It’s alright. You have nothing to scream about, yet. After all, I have only just started.” He said, squeezing her shoulder.

Yet he did not stop, he squeezed and squeezed. Until it became painful. Yet she did not dare cry out in pain. No, she was not going to give him that. Yet he continued to squeeze and squeeze until she heard a crack and the pain became agony and she cried out. Then she felt a hand on her throat pull her up.

“You know, I can’t tell you just how happy I am seeing you again. Not can I express just how much I have loved what you have done, remember, I do love stories. After all, they are always so very interesting. Though, I was lying about one thing and there’s a way to show you exactly what!”

Soon he pulled the bag over her head off her. She looked at him in the face. He smiled as he raised a hand and placed it on her mask. He tapped it with his middle finger

“What a beautiful mask! By the way, why R X and L?”

“R is for Reho Rosecastle, who took down an evil witch called Grasharlo. She can uld not be trusted to -”

She stopped as she caught herself before she said anything more.

Don’t tell him that! She thought in disgust.

“Well he took her down using his power and the Reality Sphere.”

She could feel that he was fondling the shard that he gave her. This made her feel both disgusted and vulnerable.

“And?” He almost purred.

She kept quiet.

“Come on! If you don’t tell me I will bring someone in and torture them until you tell me!”

She let out a huff, knowing that he would not just do that but he would bring someone else and do the same just because she did not do it the first time.

“He broke it to split her soul into three. Me and my sisters.”

“Grasharlo. G… why that?”

“It felt right.” She said as she started to feel strange.

“Oh? Did you know that in ancient times G was an X which meant gift?”

How ironic.

“Oh? No, I didn’t.”

“Needless to ask what the L is for. Although I have to ask. Why did you make the mask in such a way?”

“The mould was makeshift. I would have replaced it if I could be bothered.

Then the feeling left her.

“You know, I love the mask, however, I love to see your young beautiful face more.” He said, pulling her mask off.

Soon cold fresh air entered her nostrils. Before she could enjoy it he stroked her cheek gently as he smiled. Soon her lungs were being filled with his breath.

“Better!” He sang like a parent.

“Get your hands off me now you Demon Realm destined dart!”

He chuckled.

“‘Demon Realm destined dart’?” He chuckled. “Now I know that you’re not from this world!”

She felt rage rise within her. She rattled her cuffs almost as if that would help.

“No. I’m not!”

He placed a hand on her chest. She felt her energy being drained. She felt all her motivation fade as she could feel an overwhelming fatigue sink deeply in. She was soon incapable of even holding herself up. She panted as she hung there. Then he pulled away.

“Yes! That is better! But I want more! I need more!” He exclaimed.

He thrust the hand back into her chest. She felt more and more of her energy being sucked and sucked out of her body. He pulled away. He did this again and again and again, taking breaks in between. Soon she could see everything getting dark.

He gripped her neck and pushed her head back into the wall. This woke her up again and he repeated the cycle all over again. He did this again and again and again. She was soon sweating all over and her eyes were too weak to look at him. Her mind had become foggy and her thoughts were impossible to reach. She was now far too weak to do anything.

He could not help but kiss her. She tried biting off his lips but he moved back.

“By the way, Dawnfree is gone.”

She could barely lift her head.

“Wha…”

He leaned in closer.

“I ordered to destroy the whole island along with all that were on it. Now there is nothing left of the island!”

Her weakened eyes widened in shock and horror.

“No!” She mumbled.

He leaned in.

“What?”

“N… no!”

“Yes. Dawnfree and its inhabitants are no more.”

She gave him a pleading look. She shook her shaky head.

“N-no. Y-you’re l-lying!”

“Am I? See for yourself!”

He pushed a button. Soon she saw the whole thing. She looked at it with concern and fear. She tried to look away but he gripped her head. He used his fingers to keep her eyes open. Forcing her to see every painful moment. By the time she had seen it all, she looked at him in anger and disgust.

He smiled as he placed his hand on her chest. He drained her until everything went black. Once she was completely unconscious, he kissed her in the cheek. Almost like she was his slumbering lover.

“Soon you will be broken. So sleep now and wake to your nightmare!”

Destruction Of

The Rebels

When Loc woke up her eyes rested upon a screen in front of her. She looked to the left and ring and down. She noticed that she was sitting down. She noticed that there were several cuffs pinning her arms to the armrests. She felt several pinning her legs and ankles to the front legs of the chair. She felt one around her neck and waist.

She then felt a shockwave of pain run throughout her body. She screamed and screamed. All she could feel was the feeling of one thousand needles piercing all over her body both outside and inside her body. She could imagine that this was what it was like to be struck by lightning again and again. She felt the tears on her cheeks make her pain worse. She screamed and screamed as her sight was blinded by both tears and light. She felt saliva run freely down her jaw and neck. Then the saliva turned to foam.

Then it came to an end.

Aw!

“Sir, if you do that again, she’ll die! Then who knows how long it will take for us to find the base!”

Wolf Raven let out a chuckle.

“That’s alright. I already know where it is.”

“How?” Exclaimed one with blue skin and silver horns and red eyes.

He looked at Loc with a smirk.

“Because I led her to it.”

Loc looked up as she felt a chill run down her spine. Then her mind started racing like it was a cheetah, running a marathon.

What? How? How did he play me like this!?

“After all, did you really think that I would put all the rebels of the old rebellion in one place without a plot to kill them all?”

She felt her heart turn to ice.

“I love stories.” She heard in her head as she looked down with nothing but horror racing around her body.

He did it again! He was able to do it again!

She felt anger sting her.

“What?” She asked, pretending to be innocent.

“Oh come now, we both know that you:re smarter than that! I thought that you would have been suspicious of why I would put all the rebels on two islands. One near the water base that you were held at and the one that was on the island nearest.”

Her face became as pale as death.

Come on Loc. Calm down, calm down, calm down! Giving into your emotions will do nothing for you.

“No. It did not even occur to me!”

“Oh? Shame.”

“Then you planned for me to escape to that island. Why?”

“Well, admittedly, originally it would have been the best way to recapture you. But as you evaded and fought against that I sent you! Well.” He exclaimed with a chuckle. “Well, I knew that you were destined for something greater. Then you made a mask and amassed a rebel army faster than I or my son ever could, with the prisoners no doubt!”

He bellowed out a hearty laugh.

“Wow! I know that I love stories!”

Yes, I do. It’s not like you’ve told me enough times.

“But you, you have given me the best story that I have ever experienced in all my days!”

He then quickly leaned in and came close enough to kiss her.

“It was spectacular to watch! Then you took the island, by far, faster than I thought. And on top of that, you were able to take the concentration death island within a month. Oh! That was so amazing that I could kiss you! You know, I am seriously regretting not taking your offer for that date.”

Loc spat at him. He closed his eyes and smiled.

“Over my dead body!”

He let out a chuckle.

‘Well for you that would be quite difficult. It's a shame, I really love that fiery spirit of yours. I really wish that I didn’t have to break it!”

He switched the screen on.

“Well as you were still asleep, Dawnfree fell. I took the liberty to ensure to wait until you were awake when I want to take the rest down.”

Loc’s eyes widened as she felt a sense of dread built in her head.

“What?”

He looked back at her and smiled. He sat on her knee and placed a hand on her head. He used his fingers to keep her eyes open.

“Don’t you dare look away.” He whispered. “If you do then I will punish you later.”

She looked at him.

“No. You’re not!”

“Yes. I will.”

Suddenly she saw her team and those of her world flash before her eyes.

“Please no! Don’t I-I’ll never escape again if you just spare them. Just don't do that! Please don’t kill them!”

He chuckled.

“Sorry. But I have already issued the order. You really should know me better by now.” He sang tapping her on the nose.

“No!”

That was when she saw the first bomb fall. There was a large flash of light. This was soon followed by a large blast of smoke with a large pool of fire underneath. Then she saw another bomb fall. Another flash of light rose with another pool of fire appeared. Then she saw the people running and others being blown apart!

“Stop! Please, stop this! Please! I’ll do anything. Please do anything just to stop them!” She begged.

She felt her tears fall again and again. She felt them suffocating her very breath. She could feel her breath becoming faster and faster as she struggled for breath. She wept and wept as bomb after bomb fell again and again.

“Stop them!” She shouted.

Then they stopped. She looked down. Then, for a moment, she thought that they had heard her pleas. She looked up. Only to see nothing but waves. She felt something die in her.

A Broken Immortal

Loc let the pain run throughout her body. She let it continue. She did nothing to resist, not even when she screamed and screamed. She felt like this pain was what she deserved for all the damage that she had caused both in this life and especially in her old one. In her mind she saw her parents, the bodyguards, the countless of people that worked for T.O.O.T.R.O.E, Ringer, Aunt Morgan, Kuro, Draganna, To Break Son Of Peter, Silver Winter, To Break, To Open, Distant Battle, Life, her rebellion, all of them she had led so many to their deaths. The pain ended. She said nothing. The pain came again. She did not scream at first but as it became unbearable she screamed again and again. She welcomed each painful moment. Almost like she was embracing each and every painful moment like an old friend. She felt the pain wash over her until she was rendered unconscious.

When she woke up next. She hung from her cuffs. Cuffs that she knew she did not need. She knew that she was dirty but she did not care. Hanging there, in the darkness, she did not care about anything. She was trapped in this world. She could do nothing about it, no Emperor Wolf Raven was just far too powerful for her to handle.

She would spend eternity in this room. She had tried to fight back and failed and worse, she had got people killed. It seemed like all she did was get people killed. There was nothing that she could do to save anyone regardless of how hard she trid. So she decided that she was better off remaining here, where she could do no harm. Where she could not get people killed.

Then Wolf Raven walked in. She barely even registered him.

“Are you alright my dear?” He asked with an open mouthed smile.

She did not speak. She did not want to. In fact she did not want to do anything. She did not even want to breathe. She just wanted to be left in this room to rot like the piece of rubbish that she was. She wanted him to lock her up forever and throw away the key and forget she even existed as he prepared for the next unlucky soul that fell into this world. Maybe they would prove to be the one that would bring an end to his seemingly endless reign and find her. Get the shard and stop her sisters on her behalf.

He walked up to her. He looked down at her as he took a step closer to her.

“What? Don’t tell me you have nothing to say?”

He leaned in so close to her that she could feel his breath on her face.

“Oh. Seems that you don’t.”

She did nothing as he raised his hand to her cheek and stroked it again and again, almost like a pet. He looked at her intently, keeping a close eye on her face and body for any movement. He lowered his hand and stroked her stomach. She did nothing. He then rubbed it like he was giving a dog a belly rub. Feeling braver, he caressed her cheek and leaned in and kissed her cheek. As to make sure that he was not being played, he kissed the other cheek. She did not even seem to register. He wanted to test her further.

He kissed her on the lips. Even though it was only a peck, she still did nothing. Then to confirm his suspicion, he opened her mouth and kissed her. Her tongue hardly moved. At first, he did it with caution but as it became clearer that she was truly defeated he leaned in closer. Not his kiss turned into one of asserting his victory over her. He pulled back smiling.

He felt satisfied as he saw the tears she shed. Her features did not change at all.

“Oh my! Was that your first kiss?”

Her features dropped revealing that it was. He let out a chuckle. He placed a hand on her chest. He drained her of all her energy. She did not resist him once. All she could do was cry. He pulled away and smiled wider.

He kissed her again.

“Thank you for the meal, my dear beauty from another world.” He said like a lover as he walked to the door. Yet he stopped. He looked back. He wanted to make one last test before he lowered his guard.

“Maybe I should do more next time. After all, you do owe me a son!”

He looked back to see that she did or said nothing. In fact as he looked into her eyes, it seemed she did not register what he had just said.
